It is born among the fragrant vineyards of the Valmarecchia hills, and enjoys a striking view of San Marino and Mount Carpegna. It was designed by Brian M. Silva, one of America’s most influential and well-known golf course architects, who was able to integrate the course’s sinuous movement into the natural surroundings of the area. The fairways are undulating and gently bordered by elevations, and the many bodies of water make for challenging play.
The route
The spectacular 18 holes of the Rimini-Verucchio Golf Club course stretch across the green parkland of the Marecchia Valley. The course, with its American-inspired design, is able to meet the needs of players of all levels. Play is made particularly varied and challenging by gently undulating fairways, bordered by sinuous knolls, with bunkers and water obstacles placed in strategic areas.
The executive course, 6 holes par 3 and one par 4, is suitable for beginners but also appreciated by more experienced players, skirting the 18-hole course by cleverly capturing its main features.

The course uses four different starts for each hole and is sure to be very challenging for professionals, as well as a lot of fun for amateurs and “Sunday players.” Two par 3s have greens surrounded by water and a large lake awaits the brave on hole 18. One can attempt the feat or cautiously circumvent the obstacle by giving up flying the water.

In a landscape of gentle and generous beauty, among the most enchanting in the lands of Romagna.
The route
The course is very technical: flat holes alternating with holes with sometimes significant slopes test decision and power. To make the game even more eventful ponds, bunkers and an unexpected obstacle, the gully, a spectacular geological phenomenon typical of the area. The large surface allows for an absolutely calm game and the confrontation with a new and extraordinary obstacle: the gully, more challenging than the bunkers of St. Andrews.
