The Secular Pinewood of Milano Marittima
Currently its extension is 260 hectares plus the 30 hectares of the Natural Park.
Although reduced compared to the past, the Cervia Pine Forest represents a heritage of considerable natural interest, a wonderful green lung that offers enchanting landscapes and corners. It is ideal for walking or biking, jogging or more simply to enjoy the coolness and relax in an unspoiled environment.
The vegetation is characterized by the presence of two species of Mediterranean pines: The Pine Nut or Domestic Pine (Pinus Pinea) and the Maritime Pine (PinusPinaster) as well as
oaks, white poplars and the locust trees.
The Pine Forest is divided into four zones (stazzone – hut – dunes – bassona) where you can venture along the 32 trails, work out in the Open Air Gym or canoe the channels that connect the sea with the salt marsh.
At the edge of the pine forest you can practice golf, archery, tennis and all beach sports along the coast, which can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
